Harvey's Treats for Halloween!

Yesterday, Harvey's School celebrated Halloween!!! And It was really fun seeing harvey and his classmates in their cute costumes! They were all adorable!!! And I can also see by look in their faces, that they were having a blast getting those goodies in their pumkins!

A few days before the event, the school asked us if we could prepare a small loot for each of Harvey's classmates. This was my table as i was preparing his lootbags...

I just made this simple as I was doing this the night before the event...a closer look.... cute owls isn't it?And this is his class picture taken yesterday!!! Harvey was wearing pirate and is sitted in the middle of the front row....

Our First Family Day!!! - this will make you laugh!

Last October 22, 2008 was Harvey's First Family day in his school!!! All of us were so excited for this event because Harvey has been practicing a dance for their program. He even have a cheer for his team... The BLUE WHALE team!!!
My husband and I really enjoyed the whole affair... We even brought our grandma with us because she really wanted to see how Harvey is going to perform. And knowing my boy, my lola was really amazed on what Harvey can do right now!!! He just makes me proud!!!

Hi ladies!!! You have found your next clue and challenge here!!

No, i'm not a beauty queen hihi! (I wished! hahaha) But Cabbie, the 1st scrappin idol here in the Philippines just handed the cute Violet crown to me this October. Yup! I'm the Newly Crowned Scrappinmoms Idols here.

Alright here is your challenge:
Create a 12 x 12 LO using pattern papers no more than 4 x 4 inches in size!!!(nice idea to use those scraps!!!). it can be smaller than 4x4 but definitely not bigger than that! its up to you how many kinds of pattern papers you use!!! Please include photo(s) and a short journaling regarding your choosen theme.

Cant wait to see your creations!!!

I miss scrapping...

I miss scrapping.... yah, since the idols, i havent done a single page. I was only doing a lot of scrap shopping but no finished page. There has been a lot of things goin on for the past few days... like Harvey getting sick again after his vaccination. He has fever last Thursday to Saturday!!! So i was in panic mode for a couple of days. Im scared he might be hospitalized again. Good thing he is now well... he went back to school last Tuesday after being absent for 3 days. I hope everything will be back to normal so that i can scrap pages again. (keeping my fingers crossed, i hope to scrap later... i miss it!!! ) It doesnt feel the same not producing anything... or not being able to post a new Layout in my blog for quiet sometime. I still have here 5 Layouts to share but cant post it yet... hope you guys would watch out for it.

Chipboards Galore!!!

Last weekend, Jane of Rekindled Moments informed me that a box of scrapgoodies just arrived! I was so excited to go over there but since harvey was experiencing fever due to vaccination, i just have to postpone it. She havent have the time to upload it on her site so good thing she has a list of what is in the box so she emailed it to me... And when i view it on their respective sites.... my jaw just dropped!!! I love chipboards!!! they are my fave embellies!!! Here's a pic of what caused me to sin again hehehe...
This set is from buzz and bloom!!! and she also ordered new stuff from Scrap fx!!! Lovely to look at!!! I just want to stare at them all!!!

Night out After the Idols!

I'm sharing some pics of our night out after the Idols(thanks Diane!)!!! It was really fun going out with these fab ladies!!! We had our dinner at Italiannis Greenhills!

Two days ago, the mailman delivered 2 post office notices. So the following day, after picking Harvey from school, I excitedly went to the post office to get my packages. The first one came from Mystical - a paper Kit and the second one was from Scenic Route, my prize for being one of their monthly winners. Of course I took a picture of these yummies before playing with them...

2nd Scrappinmoms Idol!!!!

Last Saturday, October 4 was a major blast for me and 9 other finalist for the 2nd Scrappinmoms Idols here in the Philippines. And until now, I still could not believe what happened that day!!! This experience has be overwhelming for me and this is one event I will cherish forever.
I would like to thank the Scrappinmoms for organizing such an event that showcase Filipino scrapping talent. I know planning for these was not an easy task and I thank you for rendering your time and effort in organizing this.
So to continue my story... We had the Idols finale last Saturday. We had a day of fun, shopping and chatting with our fellow scrappers. Then in the afternoon, its time for our final challenge. 10 of us were sitted on 3 tables to scrap for 3 hours given a kit of materials to use.

After 3 agonizing hours using the Challenge Kit (4 AC patterned papers, buttons, beads, 3 sets of ribbons, Sinamay trim, velvet ribbon, chiboard shapes, and a glittered x'mas fern) here is my finished entry....

and guess what....
