Have to keep this going.....

Hello everyone!  I'm back with another post.  As what I have written in my title, I have to keep this going otherwise I will lose the momentum again.

During the retreat, I had an opportunity to teach a scrapbooking class.  I had so much fun with the girls who attended my class.  I was quite nervous at first and it was also my first time to meet some of them - but they were all lovely and very pleasant so I had a great time conducting the class.

Here is the layout.... and I have made a small shaker element on my page.

Title: Aguilars
Materials Used: Paper: Crate Paper Love Notes, Dark Grey Cardstock
Dies: Memory Box Die  and Poppy Stamp Die
Embellishments: AC Thickers, Acetate, Heart Confetti
Others: Gesso, Prima Stencil

And here are some photos from the class....

Thanks ladies for joining my class.  I had so much fun!!!

Its been awhile.....

Hello everyone!!! Finally, after almost a year of not blogging, I finally had the courage to start a post again.  I am very happy to be doing this and I really hope to be able to keep up to it.  I miss sharing projects and just about anything I love doing.  The past year had been very good and busy for me - with my son, family and work but in order to keep my sanity, I still scrap and create.

I will post new and some old projects I have done in the past months.  I just want to have a record or all my works here in my blog.  Please bear with me.

Last weekend, I just attended my very first Scrapbooking Retreat.  It was fun and I was in great company the whole weekend.  I was able to scrap a few pages which I will share with you in the next couple of posts. And I also did a few cards using some of the new Memory Box dies.

White With 1 layout and as promised, a small giveaway....

I have created this page for the White With 1 Challenge blog.  I'm having a wonderful time creating layouts for this challenge blog.  It really makes you dig your stash up... looking for all materials that will suit the required color for that particular month.  And for January, the requirement was to use navy blue and to incorporate banners!  and I was digging, I realized that in spite of all the papers and embellishments that I have been accumulating, I don't have much navy blue stuff in it!  -- I really cant believe it... but the good thing, I have my glimmer mists and inks to the rescue!!! Thus, making it possible for me to create this page.

Here is my page...

Happy New Year!!!! and my last layouts for 2010!!!

First of all, let me greet you A Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!!!
2010 was a roller coaster ride for me in terms of my emotions, health and so many other stuff.   But I'm really  glad to be able to survive it... thanks to the help and support of my loving husband Henry and my dear son Harvey who keeps me busy - enough not to think about it.  Thanks also to my ever supportive family back in the Philippines and also my friends who constantly messages me specially in FB. Thanks to all my friends and new found friends here in Australia... you made adjusting to my new life here quite easy and fun. Thank you guys!!! And of course just wanna thank the Lord for all the blessings He continuously showers us.

Scrappy side of my life....  we'll I have been scrapping...  but not as active as I was a year ago - maybe because of our big move over here--- i still have to get the hang of it. But still, I'm glad to be able to scrap... it also helps me not to feel homesick when I do.  So one of my new year's resolution.... to get back into scrapping and blogging this coming year.  I'm a bit ok now...  unlike my first few months that I have been crying almost everyday because of loneliness or being homesick.  Hopefully, i can get back the things I usually do - lots of crafts!!! I just love it!!!

Before the year ends....  I would like to share 4 of my latest layouts from a kit I bought from Scrapbook Savvy.  Hope you like it and will continue to visit me in my humble corner....
