I'm Still Here!!!

Oh my goodness, it has been more than a month since i have last posted here. And believe me, I have been itching to update my blog because i wanted to share all the things that had been happening for the past 4 weeks++.

My title for this post should be.... GOOD-BYEs ARE NOT FOREVER. But since it was way too long since i have last posted, I think the more catchy title for this post was the one up there.

Recently, my family made a big decision ( I mean - really BIG!!!) to move here to Australia. Yep! I'm already here and so far things are good except for the people -my family and my friends, and things I miss in the Philippines. They are moments that I'm just here, so quiet, thinking of why we made such decision. But hubby always comfort me with- this is all for Harvey, that I should not worry, that we are going to be Ok.

Before I left, eventhough i was so busy packing, I was still very fortunate to be able to attend a lot of scrapbooking events. A lot of scrapmeets happened last July and it gave me a chance to see a lot of my scrapping friends before i left.

And my scrapbooking buddies!!! I was very fortunate to have met these wonderful people. I will truly cherish everyone for everything you have done for me. I will miss you guys. That is why, I wanted this post to be entitled... Goodbyes are not forever.... because i surely will be back. Hugging you all!!! And thank you for all the wonderful experience.

PS: I would like to thank everyone who gave me the 8x8 layout. They are all beautiful and heartfelt. I never realize how many friends i have gained through this hobby. Thank you all!!! Will be sharing the album very soon!

Another Yellow and Violet Layout...

At Mystical Scrapbooks, we have this thread there "We Dare You" and for my turn, I was dared to create a page with Yellow and Violet Color Combi, With at least 4 eyelets and 2 Handmade embellies. When I first read it, i was like.... yellow and violet again??? oh no! So i went over my stuff to look for some violet materials.... Here is what i came up with...

Oh well, this is one thing i liked about challenges. It makes you make create pages you dont normally do (like pages with this color combination hihihi) and have fun at the same time!

18 days to go...

Days seems so fast huh! Last weekend was so fun. Saturday, I've attended Studio Azul's Scrap Buffet and Last Sunday, my good friend Merry Jane threw me a despidida party at Rekindled Moments store. I had a blast during those 2 occassions and will be sharing some pics to you aboutt those events in my next post.

For the meantime, i will be showing you my Week 4 entry to Aussie Scrap Source.

21 days to go....

My husband has this countdown on his YM. 21 more days to go and we will be together again. I'm feeling all kinds of emotions as of the moment. Happy - cause we will be reunited with my husband very soon!!! (harvey is so excited about this!!) Sad - because there will be so much to be left behind... my family, friends, our house and the life i am so used to, etc... Scared because i dont know what is instore for us there. Excited - to have our new life!

Will still be online - promise! I hope you all keep in touch with me. Will miss you all!!

One of the things i will surely miss is.... Conducting Workshops. I was very fortunate to be able to conduct 5 workshops for Rekindled Moments. I have already posted our projects for Workshops 1 and 2. Will be posting our workshop 3 projects right now and the next workshops in the next couple of days.

And I would like to thank all of my fellow scrappers who participated and attended my workshops. It really means so much to me. And I really hope I was able to impart some knowledge and love for this craft.
