Round 2 - Project Scrap Away

this is my round two submission for projects scrap away. Round 2 requirements was to make a page using only scraps in you household, and the only scrap material that we are allowed to use is a cardstock and a photo (non-recognizable). Here's my take...Wow, this round has really challenged me to think out of the box. Been looking around our household to check what else can I use on my layout. My Layout basically consists of ephemeras and scrap materials (not the usual). I've used aluminum foil (one used to wrap food), a black colored CD, a piece/cut from the fabric that was used on my bridemaids' gown during my wedding & a toothpick as feet for bird I also made. As for my ephemeras, I've used my wedding invites and the 3 small silver frames (a wedding souvenir). I made a big tree embellishment from thin cardboard then covered it with aluminum foil. I embossed it using a cuttlebug machine to give texture to it... then I also used aluminum foil, crumpled it (again for texture) and form a land-like image under the tree. I cut the Black CD into small squares to build a border and also cut letters from it for the title. The fabric on the other hand, was placed as a border to my page. I cut a strip from the leftover material of my bridesmaids' gowns then laced it around my cardstock. The bird, which I had my journaling on was also from the base cardstock. Also included small silver frames (wedding souvenir) and inserted 3 pictures of the most significant symbols of our unity as husband and wife."
Journaling:I do it over and over again...
