Who's Inside this Magazine???

Yesterday, the mailman delivered a magazine at my doorstep. Of course, excited as ever, I hurriedly opened the semi-opened packaging of the magazine while in my mind, I was asking myself..."who sent me this? i didn't not order any magazine.." then, the moment I saw the cover and the name of the magazine.... Scrapbooking Memories, My heart immediately started to pound extra fast. I remember submitting a layout for one of their call. I sent them my LO for pictorial and it was sent back to me months ago. I haven't heard from them anymore so i was thinking...."Oh no, i think my LO will not be published anymore."

So that's the reason why, I wasn't expecting this yesterday. So i browsed fast thru their pages then on Page 65, I saw my layout!!!! Harvey even told me... "hey, is that me??" hahaha!!! and I answered, "yup, its you baby!!!"

I was shouting with so much joy that my grandmother leaving 2 houses from me was hearing me - screaming a lot. She asked me "whats happening to you?" then I told her that my page is in the magazine. She thought something shocking was happening to us hehehe!

We'll thats me, with so much JOY and EXCITEMENT. Its my first submission to any publication and its my first time to get published!!! What an awesome feeling!!!

Anyway, here are snapshots of Harvey with the Magazine hihi. (I think i still cant show the page on which my Lo was on.--but will be sharing that soon hihi!)
and a sneak of whats on page 65!!!Thanks for letting me share!!! yahoo!!!!

Super Busy Weekend.. and a brown paper bag project.

This weekend was kinda super busy for me. Busy but fun.

Friday 011609, We had an online crop over at Scrappinkids. This online crop started with Wati's tutorial on Paperbag Minibook. This is so easy to do... you should try this. all you need to do is gat 5 paperbags and a few scrapping materials and you're good to go. Sharing my Brown Paer bag mini book... Since its going to be Valentines day in the next couple of days, ive decided to use some wedding pics on this project.

011709 saturday, I woke up very early because we need to go to harvey's school for the parent teacher meeting. Was a little nervous for this. Nervous to know how harvey is in school and Exam results as well as the report cards will be given today. And guess what... i was one proud mommy that day.. (will be posting a different blog post about this tomorrow). Then, had lunch and went to Harvey's doctor's appointment. We've spent quite sometime waiting for our turn to be called as there were so many patients that day. I guess a lot of kids here are catching colds because of the very cold weather. Then went home so that we can all have a nap.... and of course get online. Then, went out again in the evening to watch a movie. Harvey has been asking us for a movie date for a long time. and since he got very good grades earlier, henry and I gave in. We watched Bedtime Stories which we all did enjoyed! Had late Dinner then went home. Did a little scrapping while everyone was sleeping...

011809 Sunday. Went to church in the morning. Ate lunch at Amici's then went to get some groceries... Took care of the laundry (so tired because of this!!!) and cook dinner. Assist Harvey in his assignments and did a little chating and posting in the internet.

well thats basically my whole weekend.

Just a short update!!!

I will be drawing the winners of the RAKs tom. Will be posting the pics too!.. So sorry for the delay... We have been suspecting Harvey to have Sore Eyes since Saturday afternoon. I did not let him go to school earlier because of his eye condition and instead accompanied him to the doctor to have it checked. And it is Sore Eyes with Sore Throat!!! I was occupied the whole day taking care of him and administering eye drops ( which was very exhausting both for me and him because he hates it) and letting him take medicines, so I havent had the time to conduct the drawing of the RAK winners earlier.
Will do the drawing tomorrow, that will keep us busy (Harvey and Me) as he is still not allowed to go to school tom... and I just want to thank everyone who left wonderful comments on my post / blog!!! I really appreciate them all!!! Please come back tom for the winners!!! Thanks!!!
